We currently arent using text message communications. However, in the future, If you wish to
unsubscribe from any future campaigns, please click on the Unsubscribe link at the bottom of
any marketing email sent from us. If you opt out of our email marketing, we will still send you
messages related to our transactions and relationship with you, such as order confirmations.

Corporate Photo & Media Policy
APE Scare & Care may capture photos of the individuals who attend our events. Photos and
video recordings help create a sense of community and help display the faces of our
community. We may use photo, video and audio recordings to enhance the quality of our print
and digital marketing materials, as well as to provide reference materials to further educate our
Central New York Community.
As a participant in APE Scare & Care events, you consent, and waive all rights to royalties and
release APE Scare & Care of any liability. You agree to your likeness used, published or
reproduced in any and all media which can be used, now or in the future, for any purpose by or
in connection with APE Scare & Care. APE Scare & Care does not contact individuals to notify

them if or when their likeness is used. When you attend our events in the public, you waive all
liability.
APE Scare & Care will never post images with identifying information such as name, email
address, address, or family members’ names without express permission.
You have a right to opt out of inclusion in photographs/media. To do so, you must complete a
“Media Opt-Out” and include a reference image of the person opting out. If you do not wish a
photo or any of your likeness used, please email us at vingleason@ape-sc.com
This is only good for past used photos. You would still be photographed at any future events.
You also waive all liability and future suits. We do this for fun and not for profit.

Policy of Minors at APE Events

A.P.E. Scare and Care strongly encourages all minors aged 17 years and under to be
accompanied by a parent, guardian or chaperone throughout their visit. This measure aims to
promote a secure and positive environment for everyone, especially younger attendees. Any
unattended minors causing disturbances or engaging in unsafe behavior will be asked to leave
and escorted out of the mall.
This policy applies broadly to all board, staff, students and volunteers who interact with Minors
in person or under a Covered Program. Some examples include, but are not limited to, private
lessons or Fright Night Mansion,Family Christmas Walk-Through, Gaming Tournaments, Walk
or Fitness events or any other future events not listed.
I. Definitions
A. Adult: For purposes of this policy and corresponding requirements, an Adult is an individual
who is 18 years old or older, that attends our events.

B. Care, custody and control, or chaperone: The responsibility level when an Adult, who is
not the parent/guardian, is present and has supervisory responsibility for one or more Minors as
well as the knowledge of the general location (particularly when leaving the building) of each
Minor at any given point throughout a Covered Program.

C. Covered Program: Any program or activity operated or conducted by the APE SCare &
Care, whether on or off campus, including overnight or daytime stays, where the care, custody
and control of Minors is the responsibility of faculty, staff, or volunteers. Covered Programs
include but are not limited to outreach and community service activities.

D. Minor: For purposes of this policy, a Minor is defined as any individual under the age of 18
years old, who attends any events or programs of APE..
A.P.E. Scare and Care Announces Important Update for Fright Night Mansion Access
Auburn, NY 10/8/2024 – A.P.E. Scare and Care, the non-profit organization behind the beloved
Fright Night Mansion haunted house walk-through, wishes to inform all thrill-seekers about an
important update regarding event access.
To ensure the safety and enjoyment of all guests, Fright Night Mansion will now be exclusively
accessible through the Fingerlakes Mall Savannah Bank entrance. This dedicated entry and exit
point will allow for better crowd management and a more streamlined experience for attendees.
Furthermore, A.P.E. Scare and Care strongly encourages all minors aged 17 and under to be
accompanied by a parent or guardian throughout their visit. This measure aims to promote a
